My head felt as if it was full of thick treacle and ball bearings, and I kept vomiting and having diarrhoea. I couldn't keep even a sip of water down. It was horrendous. I could barely move. That is why the doctor told me to stop sad

mine was a nightmare paranoid thoughts etc which came with the sertraline but things are becoming good they gave me proponal no good have you been on any thing else or is this your first time on this sort of medication but give it 4 weeks you should feel a bit better.

The proponal has taken the edge off but its still there. Ive had depression before and i can handle the mind side of things, its just i cant cope/deal with the physical side of things. All started with me going lightheaded and my ears going funny when i stand up and the physical symtoms have just gone on from there. Am just afraid there is something seriously wrong with me had blood tests and ecg all normal. Just feels like am stuck and cant see a way out if that makes sence

you should go back to you doctor get something stronger than proponal to get you through the first few weeks maybe diazepam i know they do not like giving them out but others on here have been giving them just to get you over the bad times you should start to feel better in 4 weeks time a know that is a long way off but worth it a was on fluoxetine for ocd no side effects just took time to work stick in there at least for 4 weeks.

Yh i was on fluoxetine for my depression worked well. He said he didnt want to put me on anything else as they are quite addictive. If it was just me i wouldnt mind id just stay in bed, but i have a 2 year old son to look after

yes they were good a was on 20mg for almost 2 years but a had to go up to 40mg only only lasted a month the doctor said he could put me up to 60mg but a agrred with him there was no point as the last time they did not really work why did he take you off them ? a feel for you as it is hard enough dealing with this yourself without a child but a would urge you to stick in as a have been told on here this is a longer soloutin.
