Keep getting stones, awful pain- anyone else have Crohn's disease?!

Little background I have Crohn's disease and can't seem to stop getting kidney stones! Over the last four months I have had them on both kidneys, a kidney infection and two surgeries to remove the stones- the last surgery had 8 stones on the left and 11 on the right, the biggest being 8mm.

I now have them again, does anyone else have constant pain even when not passing?! I have constant pain, the stones currently aren't passing now, but the pain is awful...

    Hi,

I had an ultrasound 2 years ago. They saw 2 stones in my left kidney, but nothing else. I have constant pain in that kidney. It's like s dull achy pain. Once in a while I can feel twinges around front. I've in a wile I burn a little bit after going to the bathroom. But yes, it's pretty much constant. I do worry about that but I've been dealing with this for years. I had the lithotripsy in 98 and was pain free until about 2 years ago. I passed a very small stone about 4 months ago. Is this what you are feeling?

      Hi,

Yes! Sort of the same thing- my is constantly hurting, feels like I ran a marathon and my back won't start hurting. I had laser and shockwave done just a little over four months ago, and they just keep coming. Some days are better. I have a CT next to see how many there are. I am just over the pain, I have my pain meds, but it really doesn't help...

Good to know. I'm always scared of cancer. But I was told years ago that you can't get cancer from kidney stones!! I hate hurting all the time though. It looks like it would move. I wish there was a secret to making them move!! I would feel better then!!
