Kidney disease or just anxiety?

Hello everyone, I'll try to be as short as possible. I'm 27 yo male, so far healthy and active in sports at least 3 times a weak. Ever since my friend died from a very terrifying disease (bulbar form of ALS or Lou Gerigh's disease) I've been experiencing symptoms such as muscle twitching, frequent urination (about 10 times a day, though on some days it goes back to normal 5-8 range), and occasional foamy urine upon urinating in a bottle mostly in the morning (it never appears when I urinate in my toilete). Combination of these symptoms let me believe that I have a kidney disease so I decided to take an urine and blood test in private clinic nearby. Both tests came back negative. Most important findings are as follows:

Creatinine: 79 micromol/L (ref:59-104)

Urea: 6 mmol/L(2.8 - 8.3)

Estimated GFR: 117

Urinalysis showed:

Protein: negative

Glucose: normal

Ketones: 0

Leukocites: 0

Erythrocytes: 2 (ref: 0-2)

Bilirubin: negative

And few other parameters which I can additionally reveal, but basically everything came back within normal ranges except for the mucus in urine which was in excess.

What's you take on this? Is GFR of 117 along with no excess protein found enough to be relived from anxiety? Share your experiences. I appreciate every comment and suggestion. Could this symptoms be just related to stress and anxiety or should I request ultrasound of my kidney?

Thank you in advance and sorry for grammar mistakes (English is not my mother tongue)

From what I have read that u wrote I don’t think u have to worry about anything being wrong with your kidneys your GFR is good. I am not a doctor that is just my opinion I think u have a lot of anxiety because of what happened to your friend that’s normal I got like that after my mom died. All of your numbers look very good. Like I said I’m no doc but I hope that makes u feel a little better.

Thank you very much for your time. I've also been experiencing a lot of hypnagogic jerks (or whatever they are called) while trying to fall asleep which made me 99% sure that stress and anxiety due to loss of a good friend are to blame. However, those 1% kept bothering me, so I finally decided to check my blood and urine to finally relieve myself. Now I'll probably have to accept those symptoms as part of my anxiety and learn to live with them day by day. Thanks once again

Aww bless you. Your test results are excellent.

There are many reasons for mucus in urine and mostly testicle secretions.

Frequent urine can be related to anxiety. Maybe consider a check up at a genitourinary clinic i.e sexual health clinic.

    So sorry about your friend.

    Take care x

Thank you very much for your time and suggestions. It was a huge shock for me since he was only 32 when diagnosed and he passed away in just few months after diagnosis. This disease affects young people extremely rare.

Actually, I experience frequent urination only on some days, like 4 days in a week. Rest of the days it follows more normal routine while drinking approx. the same amount of liquids each day to make things more mysterious. I feel like whenever I focus on this problem and start counting bathroom visits the frequency increases. As if my mind is playing a game with me. Bubbles in urine are probably normal to some extent but still it bothered me very much when I read that it's one of the foremost chronic kidney disease symptoms. Thank you once again.
