Kidney failure?

Posted , 4 users are following.

I suffer from kidney stones and recently I've been getting a pulsating feeling from my side right lower back. I also suffer from anxiety so may be overreacting but dunno if I should be worried or not? I don't have any pain but I'm concerned it's an organ when it could be just my back muscle or something? What do you guys think?

What are you doing about the kidney stones. Are they going to be removed?

I think it is strange that you are not experiencing pain.

Kidney stones are usually very painful, I have a large stone myself at the moment which will have to be removed surgically.

Take care and keep in touch

I have had several stones and each time I have passed them. Only once I've had to have keyhole surgery. When I last went two months ago they said my kidney function is fine and the stone has gone. I'm just worried about the rumbling feeling. I don't have pain, the kidney stone pain is horrific but I'm worrying maybe it's failing or something.

I had laser surgery a week ago and both tubes and stents were removed, I've just arrived back from having the catheter removed and been told my next consultation regarding the remaining stones in both kidneys will be 4-6 weeks.

the remaining stones still in my kidneys is causing, kidney pain, stitches on both sides and feelings of fullness in my kidney area

In my opinion, If in doubt get it checked out , rather safe than sorry .

    Hope all goes well

      Hi Les,

I can relate to the rumbling .. at one point my right kidney felt like it was spluttering, and coughing lol ... Extremely uncomfortable and worrying .

I have however just had a kidney function test and they're back to normal regardless of the remaining stones .

If in doubt rather get checked is my motto
