Kidney infections

hi sll, just wondered if anyone on here suffering with regular UTI with pain in side of kidney affected would have a sensation of a hunger pain or hole in the tummy during the night early morning. its my wife who suffers with regular UTI and had a repair procedure done in 97 for a damaged kidney its the one thats giving her a lot of problems now. anyone else have surgery done to a damaged kidney and what was the outcome? she probly needs another repair or maybe something else?
