Kidney stones??

Ive suffered from water infections and bladder pains constantly for the past 2 years. I have been referred to the specialist who did many tests, ultrasound on my bladder, camera in my bladder and a urine flow test. the ultrasound showed that when im weeing im not fully emptying my bladder. the camera didnt find anything wrong in the bladder and the flow test again showed im not weeing enough.
These test were carried out last year and since then i havent seen the specialist and the doctors have given me useless advice and more antibiotics!!
ANYWAY today and yesterday ive had horrible pains in the left side of my body where my rip cage is. when im laid down i cant turn onto my left side. i have also noticed white particles in my wee.
Does this sound like kidney stones? As ive never had them before so im not sure.
thanks in advance for any help and advice 😃

Sorry to hear Ma1996. I am not a doctor. But from my prior experience with Kidney stone, the pain for me was so intense that I wouldn't be able to post a message in a message board. The pain is intolerable that I went straight to ER. There wasn't any warning for me. I was fine in the morning and bang, intense pain with bloody urine. Have you seen a urologist?

I think if you have had these symptoms for 2 years someone would have suggested to you by now that it might be kidney stones if that is the case. I went for a few months having UTIs in 2017 then I saw a different GP and she almost immediately said "I think you may have kidney stones." She referred me to a urologist and she was bang on the money. It is no one's fault but sometimes if you see someone different they bring something to light. Fortunately stones were removed by keyhole surgery at end of 2017 and I am now fine.
If you have kidney stones there is sometimes blood in your urine.
Hope you get to the bottom of all this.
Take care and keep in touch
Sarah

This sounds very similar to what I had. I had all these tests also and passed granules. A few weeks ago I had the pain and was in A and E. I had a 5mm stone stuck in my ureter which caused a kidney infection which can lead to sepsis if not treated. Luckily they did a CT scan and saw the stone and further stones in my kidney. They did lithoscopy under general anesthetic and put a stent in. My kidney function fell TO 32% so litres of IV antibiotic required! Had stent removed 5 wks later and other stones had passed thankfully.

my brother in law had kidney problem for two years, kept having tests which found nothing. They were scanning where he complained of the pain in his lower stomach when it turned out he had a large stone trapped high up inside his kidney. That was a few years ago mind. I imagine CT scans have improved since then. Could you club together enough money to pay for a private consultation with a another consultant urologist?.
