kidney stonr cattle call?

Does anyone else feel like this kidney stone urology thing is a borderline scam? I called 6 urologists within 10 miles of me and everyone said a new pt appt would be 8 weeks out. Then I get in and get only 6 minutes with the doctor because she needs an ultrasound because my CT is too old at 8 weeks! Of course, the US is in her office so she bills ins. Then another appt to get the US results and bill ins. Now a pre-surgical appt to discuss the upcoming surgery and bill ins. After ureteroscopy, billing insurance to read the pathology report on the stone. Then a minimum of 2 post-surgical follow-ups billing ins. Geez!
