Knee clicking

Hello. Well here goes this.

I have been having some knee clicking issues for the past 4 months. Went to get an MRI and it showed completely healthy knee. Went to the orthopedics 3 times, and the guy doesnt know what to tell me.

The thing is that it shows a bit of inflamed IT section on the lateral area of the knee itself but i dont have any knee pain at all. Its this strange click like the knee adjust itself when i extend the nee and flex it (then comes the pop). I wouldnt mind this damn click if it didnt feel weird and odd.

My muscles do get tense so i do foam roll my muscles.

I dont have any pain or swelling but this click thing is messin with me cause my other knee is messed up from an accident before (acl and patella cartillage). Anyone had a similar problem? I have research this thing to the tee from plica syndore to it band syndrome to patelar tracking.

One physio even told me that seems like my tibia isnt gliding as it should be.

My knees (and most other joints) have clicked all my life. In my case it's hypermobility - do you have that? If not, you may need to work on strengthening all the supporting structures around your knee. Check out Chico on this forum. He has great advice and exercises.

I just cant get to it what the hell is going on.

The strength of the sourrounding tissues arent the problem cause i work it(all sorts of squats, unilateral, rdls, calf work, hip work, balance, stability))

But ill check it him out! Thanks!

Hi Hrvoje, Soooo sorry this may be long...I got blown out of a truck while in the US Army, I messed up my R knee bad, swollen size of my head but, nothing torn, just stretched & minor tears, took 6mos to totally recover, never able to kneel, squat or run again...I had to weight bear on the L, causing abnormal wear of my L knee, my gait changed, I started having as much pain in both, I had started with clicking in the L, it drove me crazy but, it went away eventually, no pain either...it was like after whatever wore down it went away...Dr didn't know either...I ended up with Femoral Patellar Syndrome in both knees( its all roughed up under my kneecaps, short of surgery, no fix & possible repeats every few years) they grind and ache really bad, pain is really intense sometimes now with arthritis, too...the clicking started in both knees again very subtle last summer, when I started having more pain due to arthritis but, then it went away again...my Mom 80 just recovered from a massive broken femur, after healing she had clicking in her knee, Ortho said it would wear down eventually and stop, told her to keep exercising...not sure what it is with your clicking but, hopefully no pain is a good sign...maybe it will go away...wish I could be more helpful...Good Luck, knees are a tricky one...I feel for you...BEST WISHES💒🌈🐾🎶♾☮🍀
