I had a torn medial meniscus, too. Had scope to clean it up. Dr. said I'd be back in four years for TKR. He was right. Was back in 3 years 10 months. Had TKR on 8/24/16. I'm 7 1/2 weeks post op. I'm doing well

orthopedic dr.said ,in MRI there are no tear ups ,so you can do everything .but i m scared to do my daily activities and my exercises .because i feel some discomfort while walkin climbing stairs ,May be that;s pschological .but  i m not sure.

After torn meniscus cleanup, I went to bone on bone on the medial side.  My leg was bowed because of bone on bone on only one side.  As I said, I am 7 1/2 weeks post op.  I have made all my PT goals (125+ bend, and 0 straightening).  I am on my own now.  I to my exercises twice a day and go to the gym every day as I did prior to surgery.

Hello, I had mris & xrays done ortho finds not much wrong with my knee other than a sprain though almost 6 months later yet walking with a walker can't walk up stairs.getting painful jabbs & some twisting feeling in knee.I don't even have much strength in my legs as well with nervousness which I had back xrays & mris done that show I have 3 moderate disc bulges pinched nerves & to add that a pain management doc said I could have CRPS which this & the back issue could be the peoblem causing my knee issues..

Thought I would mention this to you not to say you have the CRPS though lower back issues could be your problem.get xrays & if need be mri done on your lower back to see if it is your problem.God bless

Pardon my ignorance, but what does that technical description mean? Do you have an injury? If you are not comfortable with this docs advise, get another input. Then get a script for PT if surgery is not needed. Good luck on your journey.
