Knee manipulation

I am going to have a knee manipulation next week is this a good idea at 52

    I'm 47 had a manipulation last week, it has made my bend a lot better than it was though I won't lie to you the pain after is bad so take your meds

    Hi, I had a manipulation about 6 weeks ago, age 51. All good, so much better but you’ll need to do physio, exercises etc. Not nearly as much pain as TKR but take medicines as directed. Good luck!

    Thanks that's why I got to have it I had a TKA about a month ago PT doesn't seem to be getting me to what they want or myself

    I think it’s agreat idea if it will help get the range of motion back you will feel a lot better

    Hi , may I know what do you mean  knee manipulation? Can you please explain? Thank you.

      A manipulation is when you have problems bending your knee after surgery, they put you to sleep and bend it for you , they are able to break up any scar tissue , it's easier when your anesthetized as your muscles etc.are relaxed.
