Knee manipulation + injection

Hello I am going to be almost 4 months post op and my surgeon wants to do a manipulation along with an injection I can not bend my knee very much this is my second major surgery in a few years and the scar tissue is terrible i am worried that it has been to long and wont be effective he went on vacation twice since the procedure hence the wait

The pain this time around has been awful, it burns all the time. Aches steady and when i bend it , it feels like it is ripping and tearing on the inside , does anyone know of this? The doctor assures me it isn't ripping , just feels like it What can I expect from this ? will it help or hinder ? TIA 😃

    Hey - this is exactly what I'm currently dealing with.... i have no advice for you unfortunately, but i was hoping to hear if you have since had any improvement. What type of knee surgery did you have?

    Im nearly 3mths post op from a bucket handle meniscus repair and im struggling with pain still and getting my bend and range back, im still only at 90degree and its not budging, and when i bend it or do my exercises the pain in the inside of my knee when the repair was is so intense it feels like its ripping off the bone.
