Knee pain

I just had knee surgery and having horrible spasms in my leg please anybody have some suggestions of what I could do?

    Hello I had my surgery 10 weeks ago and had the same thing happening to me. They were worse when I had my leg raised. I found using an ice pack helped and walking around the room holding the ice pack on lessened them. I still get them from time to time now but it does get better as your knee heals.

    Hi I'm 11 week tkr and the spasms are normal and will lessen with time all part of the healing process.. Elevate and ice and take your painkillers will help with the swelling and getting up and moving would lessen them. I still get a stinging sensation from time to time. It really is a grueling recovery and full recovery is a year so we have to be patient. It does get easier. Good luck. X
