Knee replacements infection after surgery

I have infection in my knee they replace they clean out the lower part of my knee now they want do the same to the top part of the knee . Has any one els has this happen to them pls reply thanks

    I already had an infection in my knee when they first operated on my knee.  The surgeon went ahead with the replacement using antibiotics in the joint that stayed in it for 2 weeks and I was put on 2 antibiotics IVs 2xd for 6 weeks plus oral antibiotics. Labs are good and I am now fine.   That was 7 months ago.  Good Luck.
