Knee Surgery

I’ am on my 6th week since surgery on my meniscus. I am at 60 degree bend, i do two sets of excercise every day, includes walking 10 min 2x a day but i can’t sit in a regular chair with my feet down without sharp pain on the sides of knees. Anyone have same problem?

Is it still swollen? You should have a normal range of motion by now and be able to sit comfortably.

Everyone says I should but I don’t know what I’m not doing, excercises, ice & rest. it’s very depressing, it’s a relieve to hear some say I’m ok, it just going to take time, i told not measure time, everyone is different. I just have to have to be patient.

I know. It's very discouraging. I've been there too. Maybe back off a little on the exercises and let it rest. That seems to work for me. It will never feel the same again. You'll just have to figure out your limits before it starts to hurt. Hang in there.

    Hi, Lorraine

Sorry to say it took several months before that side pain went. Had to stop the gym and eat it for for a few weeks till I could walk without pain.

It’s ok now tho so good luck
