I really am in the dark with all that is going on dealing every day with pain in knee as well leg tighning up due to some back nerves that is possible cause so next week I see a pain management doc & hope he has some solution to reduce some of trhis on going pain.. I wish I had an answer to your problem like mine other than try to always find what makes you comfortable & stay strong through with faith I believe it will get better in time.. God bless

Ice your knee Akeem anyi flames and eat a clean diet. Rest your knee. Also injections may help . Wear and tear arthritis is usually osteoarthritis

Ask for a xray could be a torn meniscus.

therapy has helped mine. Ask for therapy at first and injections for the pain.

    take care

RA caan manifest with nodules under the skin that come and go.  Sounds like your RA doc thinks it's osteo, but regardless, there is more than pain meds to help you and sounds like they were in a hurry to get you out of there.  Even a gp should follow up with an x-ray.  Can you shop around for a more caring and thorough doctor?  I certainly wouldn't waste my time with them

Nodules can also be other things. Dupurytrens contracture have nodes on hands not ALWAYS RA.

Also little cysts from bumping knuckles or toes can be another type of nodule.
