I'm in the USA and had a partial on the right knee 8 years ago and still doing good other then numbness. had a partial 2 years ago on left knee and 1 year later had a full because the cement was broke now having all kinds of problems like pain, swelling and i cant sleep. wish i never had my knees done.

I also had a partial knee and was having issues with freezing up and extreme pain. After going to a new surgeon he found loose cement that has to be removed.

had partial 3 years ago in USA. It is doing good except if i over do it then have to back off .
good to know you are 8 years in with first one. so many say a partial always turns into a total.
my doctor said not true in all cases.
anyway i do try to watch my activities as much as possibly as to not out too much stress on the knee .
Hope you get it figured out . I still ice as needed as well.
