Hi fellow fibroites
Been off the boards for a while and forgive the title but that is exactly the state of my face. Woke up yesterday morning to find two massive black eyes and a rash down one side of my face - very attractive!!! This morning not nearly so bad but still evident. So here's the question anyone else had this or is it exclusive to me?

Good to be back amongst friends. Been so busy at work to find time to chat with friends which is probably why I find the fibro sprite is now sitting firmly on my shoulder. Feel better for a Dead Sea Salt soak in the bath though although I still look like a panda - still thinking positively pandas aren't that bad looking!!!!!!

I'm there with you on the wonderful panda eyes look!!!!
For me my pains are under control after a almost a year on herbal remedies and my only symptoms are tiredness and lack of sleep hence the panda eyes look. Like you staying positive and take one day at a time.
Take care and sending you gentle hugs.... xx

Good to hear the pain is under control. The panda eyes came on overnight - weird! At least the dog doesn't mind being seen out in public with me!

I have had panda eyes for years and have got used to them but they are a feature of my tiredness.
Onwards and upwards.... xx

im so sorry you have this, hope it clears up quickly! I don't have black eyes but recently I have been waking up with really red eyes. I don't know what it is because they don't even feel dry and I wouldn't know if I didn't look in the mirror 🙄
Anyway enjoy your day
hugs

Don't think I ever talked to you but hi: I don't know what panda eyes look like unless it is like a panda bear which I surmise. As far as skin bumps, rashes, white raised spots, scaly skin as well as red, itchingness, and the like is what I have. I don't have the rash on my face but my eyebrow hair is falling out whatever that means. ha ha Doctor tells me it is psiorisis. Never told me if it is related to fibro which I have as well like a lot of people here. Sometimes I wonder if fibro is more than what is said about the condition. No one ever tells you so then it is a guessing game. Once you are labeled with fibro, the doctors don't want to even go any further with you. A few don't know is such a thing or you are a hypochondriac which is another way to say find someone else. You don't know what doctor you are supposed to see. I bet sometime we may know more about it. I best think not even to mention the deadly word fibro to any doctor. Not really understood and cannot put a finger on it. Just look at all the people here who have it. More common than you think, right? How can we all imagine that we have this disease? No one outside our circle don't understand and many will not. If they don't have it, why even bother to discuss it. You are looked at as weird. I think if we help one another and provide some valuable help then we can deal with it. The most important thing is not to get down as you will just go lower. It is easy to say keep an upper lip but we try. It's too bad we can't post pictures of what we look like. It would be a funny farm. Oh, just look at all the freaks!! I know I am going overboard but we gotta add some humor. We just have to. We are here to share what we have and see if we can help ourselves. I have a dear friend hear who researched something called EFT tapping. I wasn't sure what she meant as I thought it had to do with electronic fund transfer and someone tapping into it to steal your funds. I did look it up and it has something to do with pressure points, I think. I didn't look at it carefully, just scanned it. Check it out yourself on the search engines. It may be related to pressure points. So here it is introducing myself and I am very active here in the fibro group, and spinal stenosis group. Hope to hear from you soon. Stay well.

Nice to meet you. Been a while since I have been on here but the older members probably remember me mainly for poetry! Yes I resembled a panda hence the title - massive rings round the eyes. Luckily now gone. Fibro is different for all of us which makes it so difficult to know what is down to the condition and what isn't. If it had lasted I would have sought the advice of my GP just to be on the safe side. Had fibro since 87 but only diagnosed just over a year ago. Consultant wrote fibro down on a piece of paper told me to look it up and said we don't treat it here so discharging you back to your GP. That was it.
