L.S. is worldwide.

Hi ladies, before finding this forum I found that in France there are a lot of forums on L.S.  they seem to really think that, stress periods equals flair ups.... I find it’s really worse when i stress. Also the estrogen factor seems to come up often in discussions. I would like to find estrogen cream but my doctor won’t prescribe it and we can’t get that off shelf here. So I’ve started eating lots of flax seeds and everything that’s got phytoestrogens in it....can’t hurt. Will be back soon with some comments on what it does . I just don’t know anymore so I try everything that I think could help....

    I’ve been thinking of doing the same! Totally agree about stress inducing flares, too!

    I was wondering, Brigitte,  did you check your diet?  For me it made a big difference to leave added sugar out, as well as switching to a gluten free diet, and use limited dairy (cheese being a trigger for me)  Try avoiding one item at the time and perhaps find out what makes a difference for you?  

    ?Also - I'm helped by rinsing after each bathroom visit with a few pinches of either baking soda or borax in my Perin bottle. And regular borax or baking soda baths help all of my skin.  

    And of course stress is known to be a big factor.
