A labia is the inner and outer folds of the vulva, at either side of the vagina.  My has sealed shut due being dry and low on estrogen.

I am not married that is part of the problem, i am not having sex. The term comes to mind, use it or loose it.

Yes right use it or loose it indeed, Not when using it causes so much discomfort, id rather lose it thanks! After months and months of pain, sorry thanks but no thanks. Dr put me on vagifem pesseries, they did help but had to stop using them because they made me start to bleed again after years without any periods, ended up having a  scan to see if the lining of my womb had thickened which thankfully it hadnt.  I think in my case i have other problems hear going on as well but im not willing to be probed about, even my last smear test was very painfull, never had one since, yet was fine for years before this.  Having five babys may have something to do with it as well.

How long have you been on the Estrogen cream? Have you been massaging the area as well? It takes a few weeks of using the cream to help separate them as long as you keep massaging it to help separate them. If this fails your doctor can separate them.

When the doctor gave me the cream he said to insert into my vagina, i have only completed one week and the cream is nearly gone.  Do you think rubbing it on instead of internally might help.

I asked him for a cream that you could put onto the seam but he gave me this one instead.

It takes about 2 weeks for it to work. You should call him and ask if he can give you another prescription for it. Did he tell you that you also need to massage it? Yes, put it on the seam and massage the area. Do this twice or more a day, for about 5-10 minutes.
