hello.. i am a 22 y/o female and on the first day of my period i noticed this lump on my labia next to my urethra. It doesnt really hurt, maybe just a little tender when sitting. it seemed like it just popped up out of nowhere. its very smooth and hard, it almost feels like there is tissue inside of it. i will attach a picture (sorry if its tmi but i am freaking out.) What could this be???

These type of lumps and bumps can be par for the course throughout your adult life. Throughout my life I've had many lumps and bumps in that area, but they were never anything serious. It could be an ingrown hair or just an irritated chapped spot. If this continues, don't wait see your doctor.

Probably a cyst. It may discharge on its own. If it gets big and troublesome then do see your doctor...they are quite common.
