Labrum Help

Hello, I tore my labrum about a year ago. It was diagnosed as a SLAP tear and the surgery had about 8 anchors (if I remember correctly). I actually am a baseball player so it was determential to my career. I am seeking some knowledge on labrum tears. I had the surgery on October 14th, 2016 and it it currently December 22nd, 2017. After over a year I am having shoulder issues. I can throw a baseball, workout, etc. but it is still painful. I am not getting the range of motion I am working at even with rehab. Like I said, I can throw but not as effective. It hurts to throw beyond 90ft and throwing harder than 75%. It feels like an ache, pinch, or almost a shock to my shoulder. It feels like there is something deep in my shoulder restricting movement. There is also cracking in my shoulder. Everyday activities give me no problems. If anybody has any knowledge on this issue let me know.

Doctor, xray and MRI will tell you. From what I've heard if you tore something it would be extremely painful.

Did you try a key word search in this site?  I agree with scrapbooker56.  You can find information in your medical records.  There are also resources available outside this site that can be browsed with a search engine.

We don't know how severe your tear was, whether those anchors are still in place, or what kind of immobilization/rest you allowed yourself after the initial tear.
