Labyribithitis and Anxiety

Posted , 5 users are following.

I just want everyone to know that my heart goes out to EVERYONE that's ever put up with anxiety and Labyrinthitis. It is literally one of, if not the WORST feeling I have ever experienced. I am laying in here in bed trying my very hardest to keep my anxiety to a minimum as well as my dizziness. The doctor I talked to earlier said to stay away from the antivert because it may cause more anxiety for me, and I'm trying my best to stay away from ativan but I may have to take one tonight.

Hey let me recommand you a free app that helped me lower anxiety. Just listen to the audio and try your hardest to relax. I remember when I delt with severe anxiety my muscles would be tense and the lady on the audio would be like "relax your muscles" and I would and five minutes later she would say that again and just in 5 or less mins my muscles had gone back to being tight and tense. This app really helped me relax, it's like meditating. Unfortunately I can't post link's on forum chat so if you are interested let me know and I will private message you! Ever since I started listening to it I have dropped my ativan dose a bit. smile

    Take care

Done! smile Also look for ambient sound apps. Such as rain sounds, birds singing etc etc. I love those too.

I have had ativan for a while now, whenever I had panic attacks, during the intial / severe days of my anxitey. I dont have any attacks now, neither anxiety symptoms. I was initially scared too, but it will be alright coz its generally a chemicla imbalance somewhere that causes these issues and better to take medicines initially and slowly you can come out of them as time passes by. Make sure you practise yoga/ breathing techniques so u can quickly get rid of the medicines. I have gone through these things hence responding to people whenever possible, just to say we will be normal once again.
