Labyrinthitis, Anxiety and Brain Fog

I've been suffering with Labyrinthitis for a two months now, the dizziness seems to have gone except for random moments. The worse part is even though the dizzness is going away i appear to have constant anxiety all of the time, it is worse when i wake up in the morning and my head doesnt feel the same. Has anyone had this brain fog type feeling and is there anything i can do to help it, will i recover from this?

    Hi keiran

I have been suffering with so called labryinthitis for 3 months now. I also suffer from anxiety and have done for many years. When the labrynthitis started my anxiety went through the roof. My doctor doubled my anxiety tablets but it didn't help and made my symptoms worse. Eventually I resorted to acupuncture for anxiety. It was costly but after 2 sessions I started to control my anxiety. Unfortunately my labryinthitis has got worse in the last week and so hashould my anxiety. I will be going back to acupuncture for a couple more sesessions to try and see if it calms me down again. Acupuncture is worth a try but it does get expensive. The only thing is it was great to have hardly any anxiety for a few weeks which helped me cope with this awfull ear thing.

    Good luck kieron.
