Hi all, I haven't been able to live my life normally for a few months now, I'm scared to talk to my parents because my brain tells me if I do I'll be gone forever, but for a couple months now my brain has been telling me I'm just my conscience and that none of this is real. Is this possible? Is this just Anxiety? TYIA

this is your anxiety talking. It’s just the negative thoughts that anxiety causes that are not based on fact or reality. You have to remember one thing and that is that you are not your thoughts.
You are separate from your thoughts and what your mind
"tells you. "
the Real you is stronger than the mind produced negative thoughts.
The real you bases things and facts and reality. So when you get a weird negative thought, just let it go by and disappear. The main thing is don’t follow that thought. Let it go.
the more you practice letting those thoughts go, the stronger you will be and the stronger your brain will be in letting them go.
SO when your brain tells you that none of this is real, that’s just A story your mind has made up.
This Life is real. You are real. go ahead and talk to your parents about things. That’s a normal thing to do. Ignore the thoughts that really don’t make sense.
if you are feeling this way for a long time, it would be great to speak with a counselor who could help you sort this all out. I hope you feel better soon.
