Lack of Motivation and Tiredness

I have been taking 450mg (3 x 150mg) a day for the past 4 years after I was diagnosed with Complex Post Traumatic Stress Disorder

I take these in the morning along with 1 x 80mg Propranolol and 1 x 100mg Modafinil

All drugs was prescribed by my psychiatrist. The problem I now have is that I cannot afford to see my psychiatrist so now I have gone to see my doctor.

I am sooooo tired and lethargic and unmotivated to do anything and very forgetful too, my C-PTSD was really bad, my psychiatrist prescribed the Modafinil so that it would help 'kick start' my day

I guess now I feel that my symptoms from my C-PTSD is better would it be wise to reduce my dosage so that I can feel like living again and not feel like a zombie by 6pm each night

Any advice or guidance would be appreciated

Thanks

i'm no doctor but it seems like a reasonable test to do would be to try to take 2 x 150mg venlafaxine a day instead of 3 x 150mg, and see if your motivation/tiredness improves.  if there is no change another test would be to half the amount of propranolol you take per day, to see if that improves the motivation/tiredness issues

perhaps you can discuss this strategy or other options with your doctor or a specialist etc
