Lack of Sensitivity in Penis

Posted , 4 users are following.

I masturbated every day for the past one month. Now i have trouble maintaining an erection, I can easily get an erection but I don't feel anything while it is erect. Since there is no sensation the erections fails.

If I concentrate very hard I can maintain the erection but I ejaculate quickly. Did I damage the nerve in my Penis? If yes can it be reversed.

Can Viagra Cialis help me with the issue?

Chances are your penis and internal genital organs just need a rest. Try to abstain for a week or two and you will probably find desire, performance and function improve again.

Hi anoop ..., I agree with Pepasan - you need to give your penis time to recover.  You need to learn how to behave much more kindly towards your penis.  You are not dealing with a mechanical mechanism that always will perform in the same way, 100% of the time.

What you have been doing will depend on: your age, do you masturbate AND ejaculate more than once in the same day [morning & evening ejaculating each time - or, ejaculate, then masturbate straight afterwards again] the amount of time you are masturbating for on each occasion [5, 20 or 50 minutes] and whether you ejaculate every occasion that you are masturbating, and, the amount of pressure, or how vigorous you are with your penis each time you masturbate.

You should never consider drugs as a way of continuing to perform in the way you have been doing. You now need to bring in a radical change to your masturbatory behaviour.  Masturbation should be about pleasure, not simply so that you can ejaculate so you feel you have done what you needed to do, and got it over and done with.  Rest is the key to where you are now.  After a week or 2 of rest you must tell yourself that you can only masturbate once you have given your penis at least 1, 2 or even 3 days of rest - you need to bring the pleasure and enjoyment factor into your masturbation practices ....

I don't ejaculate a lot. I generally try edging, the skin in the shaft area feels numb. And I don't this more than once a day.

As Pepasan and I suggest, your penis would really benefit from a complete rest.  Why not update this forum discussion after two or three weeks without any form of edging or masturbation.  If you are experiencing numbness in the shaft the only way you will change this is by doing something radically different .... only you can achieve this

Are you possibly taking any medication? Because if you do it might just be a side effect if you feel numb or having errection issues.

I just take chloropromizine for sleep. I just have 25 mg a day.

Amongst a number of other unwished possible side effects to the use of chloropromizine, you can find impotence and problems in achieving orgasm amongst those. I suggest that you read more about the antiphsycotica that you're using to see if it could possibly explain your situation that you're describing. It's not a candy. Talk to your doctor about this and explain your symptoms.

He mentioned that 25 mg won't cause this sort of side effect. He told me to consult a Urologist.

I have morning erection though. Is that a good sign.

To my opinion that means that you're physically able to achieve an errection even when you're on the medicine, although I wouldn't completely rule out that the side effects can partly explain your errectile issues. Especially regarding the numbness that you explain.  You're clearly not impotent as you wake up with morning errection, but there's a different sensation or feeling in your penis than you expect it to be, which must be caused my something, whatever that is. I'm sure there must be an explaination. If you can achieve an errection but have difficulties maintaining it, then I suggest it has to the total picture of having othery things on your mind which takes the focuse off the sexual act. Worries and conserns obviously makes us men go soft as anything.

If you do seek the urologist, then make him aware of the medicine that you're taking as I would believe that people respond differently to even the same dosis. Also it could be an idea to check your ballance of certain minerals and  vitamins in your blood, as several of these influences on our sentral nervoussystem and is important to keeping normal body functions. It's quite well known that lacking of minerals can give discomfort and unwanted reactions to muscles and slow us down one way or another. As for a bloodtest to check your values. Also read about this and talk to your doctor who might know less about this than someone who's specialized on nutrition. Vitamin-C, vitamin-B12, plus the other vitamin B such as B1, B6, B8 etc), kalium, magnesium, fosfor. There are others. If people lack some they might get cramps in muscles, feel dizzy etc, depending of what they lack. I'm also thinking about your back. If something presses on your back or spinal. Do you sleep on a good matress? I talk of experience regarding a combination of problems with my back and lack of minerals which surely make bodyparts numb and give cramps. I wish you good luck. Don't expect your doctor to know anything about nutrition or the importance of keeping values in ballance. That's just my advice.

Just a pleasure man. The vitamin C isn't easy to test though, but is also important to get enough of, like  other stuff. If you've been taking different medication and perhaps not having a well ballanced diet, then there could be room for feeling better. And like I said everbody needs to think of the matress or even sofa if resting on it. If that somehow doesn't give the back the right support, it can cause trouble elsewhere in the body too. I know that myself, cos I get numb multiple places myself if not laying right. Wishing you good luck and hope that you'll get better one way or another :-)
