Lactobacillus Plantarum (LP299v)

Hey.

I am now going to try another probiotic called L. plantarum. It is called QUEST, or that is it's brand name.

If you want to know where I purchased it from, well I got it delivered off this site called www.vitaminsontheweb.co.uk :D

It wasn't too expensive either. You take 2 a day within 30 minutes after eating.

I take one after breakfast and one after dinner.

It has to be refridgerated after opening. It has 2 BILLION bacteria per capsule.

    Nothing much to note, too early to really notice much change.[/u]

    I haven't really noted anything too much yet.

    Although just when I thought my wind couldn't get any smellier.

    Now my wind has a new type of foul smell. Particularly recently.

    This could be due to the tablets.

    Week three

    Well I seem to be producing a stool a lot more regularly of late.

    On Sunday I actually did 2 poo's which is not very common for me.

    The stools also look a lot healthier in general. This is very encouraging, so I will keep with this probiotic probably a bit longer than 1 month as it is showing promise.

    Week Four

    I have not had any bowel movements this week.

    really not a good week.

    This probiotic has not made any difference to my bloating at all as yet.

    Week Five

    I experienced some quite bad constipation earlier on in week. I haven't had it that bad for a while.

    It passed after a day or two.

    Strange.

    Week Six

    Have had a lot of stomach upset and at times diarrhea, so I decided to stop taking Probiotic for a few days and see if that was the cause.

    After a couple of days I started taking them again, but again I was getting a funny tummy so I lowered the dosage from 2 capsules to 1 a day.

    Week Seven

    Well I started to get a funny tummy, feeling nauseus and diarrhea along side.

    Then when that subsided I would suffer with constipation.

    So after a few days I decided to stop taking the probiotic and I feel a lot better now. So I am going to stop taking them.

    I have given them a good go anyway.

    It did help a little in the beginning with the constipation, but I still felt bloated and gassy all the time.

    But as they have started to disagree with me I am going to stop taking them.

    I already have another probiotic I am going to take in mind. Just going to have a few days rest first though.
