    Hi Lou

I first used the lady care magnet a year ago when I began with warm glows, I didn't want to spend money on supplements every month.  It helped almost straight away, so much so, by December I stopped using it.  I then began with the extreme muscle and joint pains, which broughy me to this site.  I must say after using the magnet again, I don't think it is giving me any relief, Accupuncture has helped me no end.

A colleague at work listened to me groaning regularly, and we compared symptoms, she is 44, 10 yrs younger than me, but realised her insomnia, dry mouth, fatigue and arm and leg pains, were in fact peri menopause, Drs disagreed, and Rheumatologist told her everything was OK.  She bought the magnet out of desperation after years of symptoms, they were almost relieved overnight, so we are all finding different remedies.

Good do luck, hope it works for you.

      Hi Viv

      Thanks for your feed back

Day three with the Magnet for me and I’m really hoping it will help elevate some of my symptoms.

I have been feeling ill since I was diagnosed Hypothyroid about Five years ago, returning to the Doctors complaining of my symptoms the most disturbing of which was the dizzy feeling like I was going to pass out, so much so that I haven't driven for a long time, had every test even had Heart ultra sound and 24 Hour monitor because of palpitations and missed beats they thought this might be the cause of my dizziness but results were ok.

I to go around groaning with the pain I feel about 90, I have terrible fatigue, brain fog-poor concentration, extreme muscle and joint pains now the hot flushes!!!!

I will go back to my GP, my first question will be why has no one thought or suggested to me that I may have been Peri Meno for all this time, instead of looking at me in bewilderment every time I have complained about how I'm feeling, I have felt like a nuisance a hypochondriac even though before all this the only time I went to the doctors was when I was pregnant with my children which was 26 years ago lol

      Thanks again for your reply

      Hi Lou

has no one said it could be peri meno to you..

peri makes you feel achey, tired, in my very early peri i would faint ..

      do you take magnesium ?

      100mg Mega b complex ( with 100mg B6 ) will help you..

jarrows B12 5000mcg cherry flavour red label .. for energy

we lack B6 and B12 in peri

i have had a 9-10 year peri menopause, natural now reached full meno..

just ( one year)   i am age 50

do you have regular periods ?

excuse my question, but trying to help 😀

      Hi jay

No, no one has mentioned the menopause to me, Oh except the last nurse that took my thyroid bloods asked me how i was and after i told her i felt awful she recommended Menopace vitamins, i am 51!!

My periods were as regular as clock work up until last Christmas then a 4 month gap then 3 months.

Because i haven't felt well since my Thyroid was diagnosed (about 5 years ago) they just seem to focus on that, I was even referred to a oncologist and when i mentioned my dizziness he recommended my GP refer me to ENT as may be it’s to do with my ears, I’ve never heard of so much rubbish in all my life!!

I have been taking the Menopace vits, I'm on VitD + cal from GP as my vit D was low, I have tried soya milk and made changes to my diet but I still feel the same.

Thats why I am trying the Magnet, I figure its worth a try.

      Thanks for your help

      Hi Lou

      sounds like peri to me..

trouble is if they do a FSH ( hormone) blood test, that may show normal at the moment .. as your hormones are erractic in peri..

its not until your well into peri and only having 3-4 or less periods a year that menopause is shown in result..

I am 50 and i am menopause reached Lou..

i do suggest you get the B Vits i mentioned above..

they help with aches and anxiety etc..

plus we lack them in peri

i take 150mg B6 and B12 i have mine injected fortnightly for enery boost

jarrows B12 5000mcg is the best one for oral ...

if you Vit D is low, make sure you are taking enough supplement wise ..

They spent so long telling women of a certain age it was "Womens Trouble", whether it was or not, that they have now gone the other way

As they say know a little about everthing/most things but nothing in depth about anything. My sister had an illness called sarcoidosis which is rareish in this country. Fortunately the locum Dr was american and as it is common there recognised it, prior to that she had been tested for TB and cancer, was about to be tested for MS by her own GP.

      Thanks Jay

I'll be investing in the B Vits you suggested a energy boost is defiantly what I need, as for the Vit D im on 10 mcg twice a day.

Will be going back to GP for another chat I think...
