Hi, I'm about 3/4 into a course of Lansoprazole for possible (although unconfirmed) acid reflux and started to notice a few days ago that my stool odour has changed. I would typically have quite pongy poops (but typical stool odour) but now it seems the usual smell has abated somewhat and a sharper, slightly oniony type smell has replaced it.
Anyone experienced anything similar?

Yes I did after going on PPIs, pantoprazole. I'm still taking them and I think my body just adapted, nothing to worry about. It is not a major side effect...
