Lansoprazole with Citalopram

Posted , 4 users are following.

Been prescribed Lansoprazole so that I can take ipuprofen whilst on Citalopram.

Just wondering if anyone's done the same and whether it's any less likely to increase side effects of Citalopram than omeprazole, which I've avoided for this reason.

Thanks

Pete

My partner has taken both omeprazole and lansoprazole at various points alongside citalopram and fluoxetine, there is no discernible difference in side effects between them. Both omeprazole and lansoprazole can cause nasty side issues in exactly the same way, or not, depending on how an individual reacts.
