Laparoscopic procedure consent

Hoping some one will be able to help me, I am undergoing a laposic procedure on Thursday to investigate the cause of my admonial pain and dizziness as I had major surgery in June to remove a cyst and my right ovary. In an ideal world if anything is found I would like it dealt with on the same operation. How does consent work with this? Has anyone had any experience of something been found on the procedure and dealt with at the same time. I am rather scared

Eleanor, you would have to ask your surgeon about this. If it is something very simple they may sort it out for you but I think anything more invasive would be left ,so that you could be told in detail and give further consent.  They may not have the equipment, time or expertise available at a laparoscopy.

Has anything been hinted at?   It could be something quite simple like an adhesion. Try not to worry.
