Laparotomy

Hi i had a laparotomy approx 4 weeks. I had an ovary and tube removed and my other ovary reconstructed. I was in a lot of pain but starting to feel much beta now.

My scar is healing nicely however the scar starts from inside my belly button. I have only just noticed that there are 2 stiches sticking out of my belly button other stiches r disolvable. My belly button also looks a little red so am starting to worry. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

Thanks xxxx

Ill recommend to keep an eye on it of it gets worse could be an infection. But that happened to me when my glue was dissolving from my c section didnt get an infection though

Keep the area clean and if it gets worse get  it looked at. My stitch was hanging out but it’s gone now
