Large fibroid

Hi ladies!! I see I'm not alone here. Sorry for all of you because this stinks. I am very scared. I did have an ultrasound on Saturday and they found one large fibroid and 2 small ones attached to it.
I don't bleed because I'm on the pill. I am on a pain patch for chronic pain and no doubt it's helping subside the pain. I have a lot of discomfort, sharp pains on the left side and most of all I am bloated. I also noticed the back of my legs hurt sometimes as well as my neck more then normal (that is my chronic pain). I was wondering is this due to the fibroid especially the bloating? I sorta look pregnant. Also I noticed yesterday I didn't eat all day until 4pm saving my appetite. I took a couple of bites and felt full instantly. Is this part of this too? I won't hear back from the doctor for awhile and I'm nervous and need to talk about it.
Thanks in advance!!

I had one big intramural fibroid (in the wall of the uterus) for several years, and it was 16x10 cm at the biggest. The doctor told me it was the same size as a 20 weeks pregnancy. My symptoms were back pains every morning and every time I was standing up for more than a few minutes, and a feeling of a ball bouncing on my bladder everytime I tried to go jogging. The fibroid also pressed against one of the ureters.
First I tried embolization. Unfortunately it did not help shrink the fibroid more than about 1-2 cm or so, but it did seem to stop it from growing. 3 months after embolization I also stopped having back pains Then I tried the medication Esmya for 3 months but that did not help at all. No change in size of the fibroid or symptoms.
Finally i decided to remove the fibroid surgically and had a myomectomy in october 2014. My gynechologist did the surgery and managed to remove the fibroid laparoscopically! The surgery went very well, lasted about 2 hours, and there was almost no bleeding. Doctors admitted afterwards that my earlier embolization of the fibroid could have had a positive impact on the surgery since the fibroid was weakened. Less blood supply to the fibroid means less bloodloss during surgery
I had my check up this week and there is no sign of new fibroids and everything look fine. My uterus is back to its normal size again, only a teeny little bit of scar tissue in the wall where the fibroid was removed. The doctor assured me that it will disappear over time. My belly has three tiny scars (the fourth is hidden in my bellybutton) and I have had no pain or problems after the surgery.
I am really pleased to have gotten rid of the damn thing and I hope all of you find a solution you feel comfortable with. Never trust a doctor that says the fibroid is impossible til remove without doing a full hysterectomy! I am a living proof that even big fibroids can be removed laparoscopically. I am also glad I did the embolization before surgery, even if my doctor at that time said it would have no impact on the fibroid what so ever. She actually said it would be a waste of time. Well it was absolutely not a waste of time! If my fibroid hadn't been embolized, chances are that there would have been a lot more bleeding during my myomectomy, and I would have risked having either a full abdominal cut and a big scar across my belly, or even worse; an emergency hysterectomy.
Please don't choose hysterectomy as a first solution to your fibroids, unless you really feel okay by it. Seek other solutions as embolization, Esmya, myomectomy or other new and less invasive treatments. If your doctor tries to pressure you into doing a hysterectomy by telling you it's the only way, seek guidance from other doctors/specialists!
I wish you all good luck and hope you'll get rid of your "fibroidmonsters"!

He put me on a detox 10 days called "Clear Change" you can eat fruits veg nuts fish lugems and you drink a rice shake and take some pills.. Since then I have not had any pain or bloating. I have had really bad of both of these..
As well he put me on 2 capsules a day of magnesium to get the bowl moving daily. That is the only way estrogen can leave your body is through a BM so if you are not having daily BM try some magnesium.
He also did a food sensitivity test on me I am intolerant to potatoes and peanut butter.. these are not an allergy but act like poison in my body. Did you know for the past how ever long I have been eating toast and PB in the mornings? So first thing I put into my body is doing my body so much harm.
FOOD is FUEL. I am not on an anti-estrogen diet, and it might be hard but I am seeing such amazing results.. not sure if they fibroids are shirking but I haven’t felt pain or any bloating.. give your body the right foods and it can heal its self. As well I have been body brushing to get all of the toxins out. Have hope have faith xo
As well I have been going for a walk or bike ride daily and doing a work out or yoga every other day. Be good to your body give it what it needs and itll do wonders.
