Large lymph on right side.

i have had a large swollen lymph on the right side of my neck for about 6 weeks.  I went to the dr and have been on 3 different antibiodicts... i did have a massive sinus infection ...the lump is about 2 fingers in width.  I have also had an ultra sound which just showed a swollen gland... at that time they set me up to have a biopsy.   during my initial consultation he really felt that it was just from the infection..  I do not have any fever, rash, sore throat, head aches or anything issue of any kind.... I feel perfectly fine.  although for a bout a week i did feel pretty rough while i was taking to antibiodics.  but now...i still have the enlarged lymph.

I still worry, i am contantly rubbing it and checking it... at night i almost have aniexty worring about it which keeps me up.  I feel fine but am scared it could be something.   Am i just borriwing trouble... The dr told me it may take a while to go down.  and may never ever go back to normal size... any thoughts or words of encourament.

    I went through the same thing so I can understand how you're feeling. I understand from what you're saying that after taking the antibiotics you got better? Thats good that means it was an infection and the antibiotics treated you. I'd say don't worry about it... if its still there after few months then have it checked. I have mine of the left side for over a year now... I maybe ill without knowing it... but after a year I'm still okay and practicing my daily activities normally. Yes I should see a doctor... I will at somepoint. ;/

      thank you so much... at times i think i was making myself feel worse than i was because of worry...  i feel fine... actully better because i had let my sinus infection get a little too bad before i went to the dr.  even the surgeon told me it make take a while to go down...the only thing i didnt understand was why they didnt do a blood test... again i may just be borrowing trouble.  i have never really been ill other than allergies.  I have never even been in the hispitol and i am 44

      Hiya I have same problem been doctors so many times worried myself so much.  But I try not to check them now or think about them  I no it's hard.. I can feel my lymph glands nodes whatever they are next to my neck muscle wen I tilt my head back can feel them more I no alot of people that can feel what I can feel and all say it  normal . I have a few around my jaw to that move around small peas doctors said nothing wrong scan was fine apart from esophiline count was abit high probly due to allergy hayfever etc.  I just check them now and again if any change I'm going back lol
