Large open sore hasn't gone away in a year

So I've had this large open sore on my vulva right below the opening to my vagina. It bleeds really easily when I have sex I had an std test a couple of months ago and my test came back positive for hsv2 but I don't think the sore is from an outbreak since it's been there for over a year and then there's another one that isn't as large but looks more like a deep papercut. But please if anyone has any idea if these sores are related to herpes it'd be greatly appreciated.

One year ??? What did doctor say if it was from outbreak it would have healed ? Where do your outbreaks usually occurs

Yes one year and it never shows any signs of healing not even when I don't have sex for a couple of weeks. It's just always there and then another one occurred like 3 days ago after have really rough sex with my boyfriend. It's tender to the touch. But from what I've been reading on about herpes it should've healed if it was from an outbreak. But it's just continuous and shows zero sign of healing and it only bothersome when I have sex and the occasional wiping. And I've never had any visible sign's of an outbreak. I only know I have hsv2 because I was tested and came back positive with an igg of a 5. But I have had any symptom of having the herpes virus. Unless these sores is part of it but the sores are very deep and bleed quite easily.

What did your doctor say maybe it's something else or some other condition so you never had an outbreak just a positive igg most doctors won't even tell you that it's genital without outbreak you can have hsv 2 other places and some actually alot.of ppl.test positive for it according to my doc I never tested positive until I had an outbreak on my arm go.figure and again it's painful and u would.know and also having sex with an open lesion your boyfriend would have it especially sore out ....go.see infectious disease doctor and they will be able to give u answers for sure

I was planning on going to see my obgyn since she specializes in that area but I've never had a cultural swab just a blood test. And it came back positive with over a 5.0 but I've never had an outbreak of any sort. But I was told that that I could just a carrier of the virus. I might just get a culture swab of the sore just to rule out herpes. But it shouldn't be an outbreak because it's a continuous sore that hasn't healed in a year. The only thing that came up when I looked up sore's that don't heal is cancer in the vulva

I'd definitely go and demand a swab test definitely doesn't sound like herpes and also she gave you a diagnoses of genital herpes without ever having an out break strange like I said hsv2 isn't always genItal can have it other places whato about hsv igg

When and why did you have hsv 2 blood tests done alot of doc won't do it cause of cdc guidelines

I got just a regular std test done so I got tested for all stds and I just happened to have hsv2 antibodies in my blood bUT I was negative for hsv1

And just based on that your doc said you have genital herpes? Like I said you can have hsv 2 other places and maybe you had an oral infection ....but please go get that looked at is your doctor aware you have had this ongoing problem and has done nothing to resolve it

Not even based on what the doctor told me it's just based on my IGG blood test that I have it and I've never had any signs of a cold sore.

And honestly never gone to the doctor about this problem just thought it would eventually go away. But since it's been a year and it hasn't just wanted to see what other people think it would be before I go see a doctor about this problem since if it wasn't anything major at the time but since it's been persisting for over a year I think it might be time to get it checked out. But I just had no idea what this would be.

What was your igg you don't have a diagnoses of hsv 2 on medical record right you could have had it someplace else or maybe get retested people do get false positive even with blood work

Well when I went in I told them I've been having painful sex so they asked if I used protection and everything else I said no because I've only had sex with one other person for over a year and I've never had problems until May of last year and I was still with that same guy. Then I started dating someone new so in December I went in to get an STD test and both my chlamydia HPV and Gonorrhea came back negative since I never got a phone call from the doctor asking for me to come in. And then 4 months later same problem painful sex they opened me up and they never once said anything about more sore they just said it could be bacteria vaginous which I did as well as chlamydia. But then I also got tested for all stds HIV/Aids HSV 1&2 hepatitis chlamydia gonorrhea everything and the only thing that came back positive was hsv2 and chlamydia. But I've never had any sorts of symptoms from either but I know some people don't have any symptoms so they don't know they have it. But the only thing I would consider a symptom would be the very large deep painful sores but the sore has a very rough raised bored and is tender to the touch. There's no burning itching or anything like that with the sores they mostly just sit until I have sex and then they bled ache afterwards and then my vaginas swells up from it and it causes sex to be very painful for me. But I've always had unprotected sex with my current boyfriend and he's never once showed any symptoms whatsoever.
