Large Painful Hernia

Posted , 1 user is following.

I have had two surgeries on my right side; the first was for a perforated bowel and consequently I lost half my bowel.

Second was to repair a Incisional hernia and bowel exploratory performed using

the same wound area.

Now I have another hernia that worsened caused by severe coughing from recent bouts of bronchitis before and after Covid.

The surgeon told me he could not operate again to repair another hernia on the same right side as things could be made worse.

This means a visit to the pain clinic , I will be in pain for the rest of my life swallowing lots of pain killing drugs like Amitriptyline or worse Naproxen ?

Any suggestions please
