I'll bet he means the Mona Lisa.

Mona Lisa was introduced to the US in 2014 and is a carbon dioxide radio-frequency device that is supposed to stimulate collagen production in the walls of the vagina. It has not been reviewed in any long term studies that I have found nor has the FDA cleared it for vaginal atrophy. It is often used for women who cannot or do not want to have estrogen therapy. Some people wrote reviews saying it helped a lot, others not so much but all still had to use lubricants and creams. A few said the procedure was painful. A no go for me. I am already in pain.

Are you using estrogen cream of any kind? Did a doctor ever consider prolapse of the uterus, cervix, etc?

I would ask around of my friends, or anybody.

The laser treatments are considered "off-label" (meaning they are being used for a purpose other than that which they were originally designed for) and are not covered by insurance. If you have Medicare, I don't know how it would cover a foreign dr (Canada).

Did you go by yourself or did you get someone to go with? I hope the latter.

      take care,

      Hi dma,

Did you got to Gainesville, Florida, Georgia, or somewhere else?

SO glad to hear someone got good results. Guess I've only heard from people who did not. What was your original problem, if I may ask, and how old are you?

Hi DMA interesting. ARE YOU IN THE U S? I am in

canada,, don't know where Gainsville is. DID you pay for your treatments and if so what was the cost of them. so glad to hear that someone got good results. All my burning is in the inside now. But if I do need the Laser I will hope to get the good results as you have.
