I had my operation on the 1st Dec 2014 and am now fully recovered with no pain, for which I am eternally grateful to the staff of the General Hospital in Leicester.

Since my op I have been more than happy to add comment, help and advice on a number of issues that have conecerned us all and I truist the points I have made have helped anyone who has had the time to read them.

It is therefore time for me to say goodbye to you all and thank you for all your support and  wish you well in you own recovery. I have fully enjoyed all the comments both serious and not so serious especially those questioning the value of chocolate against those of wine. The humour has been wonderful and a great tonic.

As such I would like to thank you all and wish you well in recovery. If you are about to be operated on do not get stressed and ask this forum for their experiences as the advice given is priceless. If you have had the op I wish you all the best and remember " if it hurts, rest !!!!!!!!"

Cheers, wine (not chocolate) in hand

Trevor

I'm not sure if we've crossed posts Trevor but I'm sorry to see you go. In another way it's good to see as it means another hippie has gone through it all and is well recovered. This is what we all aim for ultimately.

    Good luck cheesygrin
