Latanoprost eye drops side effects

I have been diagnosed with glaucoma by an optometrist 1 week ago, when I went to buy some glasses.( eye tension 22 at 1 eye and 23.5 at the other eye)

She put me on Latanoprost 1 drop at night .I started to experience red eyes,pain in the back of my eyes ,blurry vision, insomnia.Before the drops I could read without glasses for a period, now everything is blurry.I called the dr and said to stop taking the drops until I see an ophthalmologist.

I stopped 5 days ago, I can sleep well now but my vision is still blurry, much worst than before the drops.Did anyone experienced this, would my eyes go back to how they were before the drops ?
