Late on Colonoscopy

Posted , 3 users are following.

I had a normal colonoscopy in 2005 I was due for another one in December 2015.  I messed the dates up and I should have had one but somehow I thought I was due in 2016.  I am a person that usually keeps up with everything now I'm worried they might find something wrong although I have no symptoms I'm dreading it.

Try not to worry too much - the fact that you haven't had any symptoms is good news.

We all get anxious when we have tests and wait for the results whether it is a year after or ten.....we all fear the worst...

Let us know his you get on.

If it's any consolation I missed mine by five years with no trouble. If you were told ten years it means there was no trace of any kind of trouble at the first one. Ten years is just an approximation so I shouldn't worry. Good luck!

I can't thank you enough for your reply.  It definetly makes sense and makes me feel better.  I have to stop being OCD about being right on time with this and that me not being exactly on time does not mean trouble.  Thanks again!
