Late stim - have I screwed up?

Posted , 4 users are following.

I do my injection every night at 7pm, and today is my first day back at work since starting my cycle (I’m on day 3 and I work nights). I got to work today at 8.30pm and realized that I’d forgotten to do my injection before I left 😞

My partner bought my injection to me and I did it at 8.40 but this is nearly 2 hours late.. will this make a difference? I’m so petrified that I’ve screwed up and irritated because my previous cycle was Cancelled before egg collection

I’m sure I won’t forget moving forward, but I’m setting a reminder anyway!

You should be fine! It’s only one time. Try not to stress, good luck with everything!

the only shot that has to be exact is your trigger shot. My last two cycles I varied a bit w my shots and had decent results for my age.

My doc gave me a 3-hour window to do stims (7pm-10pm), I imagine for even growth. But these are Eastern European standards (I had my treatment in Ukraine). I think the timing of the antagonist (e.g., Cetrotide) is much more important, to prevent catastrophic ovulation... preferably no more than 24 hours between doses (but okay if a bit less).
