Lateral ligament replacement

Had ankle stabilisation 2 years ago (bostrum) for peroneal subluxation but the ligaments were too damaged to repair.
now awaiting ligament replacement surgery- what should I expect?

I can't really address your question directly, but you posted on a topic that interests me. Did you have peroneal tendon snapping over the malleolus by any chance? What other ways did the subluxation manifest itself?
Didn't your doctor inform you about the surgery on your last visit?
I found this, but don't know if applies to you.

dr has told me his info, but was after the reality from anyone who has experienced surgery.
subluxation was the tendon coming over the fibula, initial scan suggested retinaculum tear but the atfl, ptfl and cfl were all damaged, probably after years of "going over" on ankle. still have stability issues and peroneal clicks across fibula.
