Lateral posterior meniscus tear anybody else?

Hi 6 weeks post surgery, first couple of weeks were good then started to go down hill. I am getting pain where the part of meniscus has been removed( went to GP as knee cap area itself ok). stairs is worst when i push up and weight bare , still cant come down stairs properly. Anybody else had this issue or got a success story to how to over come this? thanks

    Hello Penny, I have the same problem. I am really struggling to go down the stairs as something seems to be blocking it (extra pressure and pain) when I go up the stairs pain it stronger but I can push through it.

    But no one will even look at my knee, cos scan shows only cartlidge damage.

      Hi, sorry to hear about your knee, wish I had a solution for you, have you. tried a physio? Using a cane helps for

      the stairs, though it is very frustrating.
