Leaking after colonoscopy

Earlier this week I had a long and painful colonoscopy. It was my third so I knew what to expect. The day before I had used the Moviprep laxative which was very effective. Since the examination I have continued to have a lot of leakage from my anus. Has anybody else experienced this after effect? Is it the Moviprep or some sort of (hopefully temporary) anal trauma?

    yes, like you, I have had stool leakage. further tests show I am lactose intolerant. this all started

    with taking a pill for osteoporsis..

    my 2nd reply. the leakage after colonoscopy, really upset me. even after deleting lactose , I get

    anal leakage once in a while. I sometimes think a muscle resisted during the colonoscopy, because

    I was awake throughout.

    have had many tests since. I am afraid that it is now phsycological as I am constantly checking.
