How can i over come a small leak from my anus

Perhaps you would like to tell us some more about your problem? When does the leak occur? Do you have any other anal conditions? Have you any anal surgery? Are you sure it is from the anus and not from around the anus... Could it be an anal fistula?

Thanks for replying to me well i had two botoxs injections then i had sphinceroplasty precedence done so when those did not work my gp send me to different specialist in london so he done placement flap operation but if any thing it made things worse not better my problem is worse when im am sitting down for long periods of time

So you've had an anal surgery that caused your incontinence problems? That is very unfortunate. Are you a female? Unfortunately, sphinceroplasty doesn't always work and sometimes the good short-term results can be misleading in the long-term. There is some experimentation ongoing in this field, it will become more of a problem with the global population aging. Have you tried pelvic floor exercises (biofeedback)? Maybe for small leak this could help, provided that you find the right specialist to work with you.

Yes was put with a specialist nurse that deal with exercises at the hospital in London but did not improve things so have tries nearly every thing that i can think of

Im a male aged 58 got that problem a long number of years but what confusing me is that i was on holiday in manila two years ago for ten days and to my surprise my problem seem to clear up completely after two days there so i wondering why was that is it some thing im eating

Tries all those tablets to harden stool improves for a while then tablets don work any more

Would you know of any medicine that i could take to make my stool hard as i suffer from a lot of wind and soft stools its makes my anus leak worse

Imodium or Codaine. But you can get yourself constipated and have more problems. What you eat is very related to what will come out. If you have noticed that some foods make your bowel movements less problematic, then you should stick to them. It's a good idea to start a diary with what you eat and how it affects your wellbeing. Greasy foods, caffe, milk, even some fruits and veggies can give you gases.

Not much else to eat then tries lots of different diets think stress is big issue with me thank you

Got botox because of I had leak in first place tried anal plugs dont work for me as area can be very tender and sore
