Left ear fullness, swelling below

For probably the last 8 months I have had on and off fullness, pain, and congestion in my left ear. I went to an ENT a month ago who said allergies and out me on nose spray. A week later, I was tired of the issue and saw a regular nurse. She said I had fluid in both ears but mostly my left. I did a round of antibiotics and steroids. Nothing changed. I have good and bad days. I have a hard spot under the ear behind where my neck meets my jaw, but it seems to go up and down. I had a head ct a month ago for migraines that was clear, so I imagine if it was a mass it would've been seen. My blood work is also normal. I am on zyrtec as well, but I can't get my ear to pop. It's making me nuts and I don't want another doctor bill. Is it possible it is allergies and my tube is blocked? Side note, I do suffer from post nasal drip a lot.

    I have a very similar problem for about 6 months and i feel you

    The last time i visited a doctor he said cut all of caffeine from your diet

    Also a question: how long did you use the nasal spray?
