Left Eye Wanders to the Left

hi everyone! Just after some advice from anyone who was born with an eye that wanders? aka my left eye basically goes out to the left!

I had an eye operation when I was 2 years old to correct this, with an understanding that this type of operation is not 100% successful every time round.. touch wood, I am 22 now and my eye has very much been kept under control thankfully! I wear glasses part time (close up work) but I find that when I look into a distance without wearing my glasses, my left eye will turn

Just want to hear from anyone who has the same eye condition as me as I dont know anyone to have it! and does anyone know if my turn will get worse/more noticeable with age? at the opticions they say that my eye should remain the same until im very old.. I hope this is the case as sometimes I get so self conscious 😦
