Left flank pain for over 2 years and still getting no where

Hi. I'm 38 I've had left flank pain for over 3 years. I've had camera's scans test you name it. I also have diverticular disease and awaiting a stoma bag. Just trying one last thing to see if it works. And unfortunately it's not. But I've had this bad pain that's taken over my life. I've had to finish work due to my pain illnesses. But they can not figure out what it is. They say it's down to divticular but I know it's not. I've a left enlarged kidney and a right slightly damaged. I was always in hospital as a child and was told then I'd have to go in dialysis. I've had numerous infections. But everything else comes back clear. But this pain never goes away. If i dnt take my pain relief I'm in agony or end up in hospital on drips with 2 antibiotics. And then sent home after 5 days. They saying everything comes back ok. But it feels like I've got something stuck and it pushes against my ribs sometimes. Like a sharp pain sometimes too. But the pain is always there. I'm at wits end it's took over my life with everything else. But the urology just say to take these tablets when I get the symptoms.. the infection goes but the pain doesn't.. anyone one else the same and that I can speak to my doctor or consultant about.. xx
