    Hello rehreh

I'm sorry you're feeling so awful at the moment. There are so many weird symptoms with menopause which are absolutely real, but just related to hormonal imbalance. It's astounding how it effects you. I had bizarre feelings last year crawling skin, muscles rigid etc but since taking hrt not so much. I think the biggest impact is with the anxiety kicking in you imagine all sorts. By all means go back and get it checked out with your doctor to put your mind at rest, but it could easily be tension. Sometimes I don't even notice that I'm tense, until I go to bed and end up rigid thinking there is something wrong. Try having a bath, moving about and stretching, grab yourself a cup of camomile tea and just try to distract yourself. If you're thinking you've had a stroke and you're able to make sense of things then youre probably not having one. Just go easy on yourself, you'll be okay I'm sure xx

ive been so many times and every health check comes back normal. which am gratefull for. i have a prscription for hrt at hand but just to scared to take it . its a patch form the dual one. The only reason am holding back is my fsh was normal levels . estrogen low side 89. still regular periods am thinking is it to early for me to start hrt?

i just turned 41 in jan . but then all these hormonal symptoms i cant handle :..(

      Hi rehreh

I know, it's hard to get your head around it, I'm 43 and full menopause 😭 Im not sure what the doc said about the patches, but obviously thought you'd benefit from it. I know it can be scary when staring hrt, but without them I don't think I'd function at all. I'm not sure if you've tried anything holistic first, but acupuncture, mediation, hypnotherapy, yoga, exercise, camomile, flower remedies etc have all been really good at helping to balance things xxx

I'm sorry your feeling like this, please go and get checked out, but also try relaxing, stay away from certain foods, I found they trigger my anxiety, such as coffee and Spicey foods😣

check to see what happened leading up to your pain to pin point what could have triggered it.

Yes, I can relate. For a few years I've had pain, fatigue, soreness and stiff muscles on the left side of my body from my head to my toes. There are a few things I can offer here. First, the lymphatic system drains from the left side and I know hormonal fluctuations have an effect on that as well as pretty much every other system. My gut has always told me that it's sluggish lymph that is causing the discomfort. I'd encourage you to look into the lymphatic system during perimenopause. You can get special massages to encourage better lymph drainage, but I'd recommend regular movement. Unlike the circulatory system, the lymph system doesn't have a pump to move it around the body. It relies on muscle movement/contraction to get it to where it needs to go.

Second, I'm a yoga and meditation teacher and I can say without hesitation that yoga has kept me sane during these past 7 years. I know it's hard to get motivated to move when you're feeling crappy, but a gentle yoga class will help immensely.

    Hi Reheh78

I am currently experiencing similar all on my left side but also have weakness, numbness, pin & needles in my arm, and the top of my left toe has been completely numb for the past 2-3 months..I have also seen a physio but it's sadly not helping. I am 53 and in menopause now but still have hot flushes, nausea, anxiety, and sometimes dizziness. Since the age of 50 my body has changed so much and sadly not for the good, I have also suffered lung issues too, allergies diagnosed with adult onset asthma!!...was never bothered with this in my life before! The whole area of womens hormones/ menopause should have dedicated research to help us ladies suffering these multiple weird symptoms...we need answers and relief! Best wishes x
