Left side sore

hi all I had a total hysteretomy in may last year all ok but I keep getting a very sore left side lower abdominal I keep getting it sometimes I can,t move it's that sore has anyone any thoughts on this ?

    Well, it could be scar tissue, or adhesions.  Did you have lymph nodes removed?  Also, you could have some intestinal issues going on.  Do you have any evidence of that?

    Because your pain is so disabling, perhaps it would be best if you went to your GP or GYN.

      Thanks for advice no didn't have lymph nodes I had a tumour on left side and no no signs of intestinal problems either but will see doctor

    Hi, I had a total hysterectomy 4 years ago and starting get this but on my right hand side..over the last few months for several hours a day...incredibly painful...as lynda said below my doctor has said it could be scar tissue but no clear diagnosis to date...I did notice that when I stopped taking HRT last year 2 days after the pain went...when I went back on 3 months later the pains immediately came back...so I'm now left thinking one of the hormones is stimulating internal tissue in some way...estrogen is included in my pack and I was told and read that you don't need this hormone if you've had womb removed.

    Ps so I'm going back to doc and menopause specialist to see if there is truth to the estrogen matter and to try and find out what's happening...it's such a major op for a woman that DR felt it made most sense to be scar tissue. Hope you manage to find some helpful advice for your situation.

      No I've just looked that up I'm not getting any of them signs but in a lot of pain today with it 😱

    Hi. Is the pain left side not on you belly but more you side and like pain is so bad you can't bare... if so sounds like the few attacks I have which they both landed me in the ER....And a few test were done blood work scan. And I was give antibiotics it was diverticulitis in my bowel. It a small pocket you get in your bowel and stuff gets stuck in there and it hurts Google it.. tell you all about it..
